GM Disability Pride March

Save The Date! We will be holding the first GM Disability Pride March on Saturday 5th July in Central Manchester. Assemble 11:30.

It will end in a rally and speeches in St Peter’s Square. We can then have food and drink at GM Coalition of Disabled People’s 40th Birthday party at Friends Meeting House from 1 pm onwards. Disability pride is for all disabled people, to show our defiance and joy!

Manchester Disability Pride Route Saturday 5th July

Please feel free to join at any point on the route, you do not have to do all (or any) of the march, you can join at the rally in St Peters then come to the party for food and drinks and more, also CAKE!

Assemble Outside Boots Market Street 11:30am

12:00pm Head West on Market Street

Turn Left heading South onto Exchange Street

Continue South through St Anne’s Square

Turn left heading East onto St Anne’s Street

Turn Right heading South onto Cross Street

Turn Left heading South East on Princess Street

Turn Right heading South West at Cenotaph into St Peter’s Square.

End in Front of Manchester Central Library.

Distance 900 metres

Duration 30 minutes approx.

Rally/speeches in St. Peter’s square until 1pm

1pm – you are invited to the GM of Coalition of Disabled People Birthday party at Friends Meeting House, RSVP.
